Denier Electric Co. Inc. is a Cincinnati based corporation that has been in business for more than 60 years. Originally founded by Howard Denier, Denier Electric is a second generation business under the leadership of Dennis Denier. Dennis started with Denier Electric as an electrician helper in 1963 and rose through the ranks to become President in 1974. At this time Denier consisted of 24 employees and has grown to over 200. |

| In 1980, in anticipation of an industry move away from traditional spec-bid construction to fast-track, design/build projects, Denier Electric started its own in-house engineering department, Edcom (Electrical Design and Construction Management), which propelled Denier Electric into the forefront of the design-build electrical constructing contracting. In 1983, Denier Electric completed the first downtown Cincinnati high-rise commercial office building with electrical systems completely designed and constructed by hometown engineering and electrical contracting talent. The trend continued with the next three high-rise office towers built in Cincinnati. | |

Denier has been a pioneer in installation methods and tooling. A prime example is that in the 1960's, the first hydraulic scissors lift, "Moon Buggy", that Greenlee Tool Company sold, was designed and constructed by Denier Electric. Denier Electric consistently found creative ways to help fast-track projects, culminating in starting our prefabrication shop in the early 1980's. Denier continued this trend in 2000 by purchasing American Metal Fabricators and establishing Denier Manufacturing, a sheet metal fabrication shop. This purchase set the path for the release of Rough-in Ready, a nationally marketed, UL listed prefabricated wiring system, developed and manufactured by Denier Manufacturing. |
